Posted by on January 27, 2012

Seen here is the silent coast of the Sumatra Island, Indonesia with a couple of boats standing at the coastline. The local fishermen are at work in the deep sea. Sumatra is a giant island located in the westernmost part of the Sundan islands in Indonesia. Sumatra is known worldwide for its grass huts, lake, tribes, wildlife reserves, steamy jungles, swampy lowlands, swift clear rivers, spectacular waterfalls, crater lakes, and immense forests of 30-meter-high tropical trees. The region is rich in natural resources, accentuated by the rugged mountains and fertile valleys. The Sumatra Island is the sixth largest and the fourth most populous island in the world respectively. This island is not for delicate and wobbly travelers.
